It is Ironic to Digest Lesson on "Good Governance" from Pavan Varma

Pavan K Varma, a member of JD(U), raised the "Malign Modi Intolerance Bogey" with his article "India's Politics Of Fear", courtesy Times of India guest editorial page. He wrote, "Both right-wing and `secular' parties have unleashed a vicious cycle of extremism. When Yogi Adityanath, the newly anointed chief minister of UP, held his first cabinet meeting on Ram Navami, did he have in mind that Rama is regarded as Maryada Purushottam, the epitome of rectitude, or was he merely playing politics? Is India's secularism in danger, or will governance rectitude triumph over religious divides?

IMQ is amused with the tone, he still maintains even after the heavy drubbing their vicious "divide nation" ideology got in the election at the biggest state of India with 22 crores residents gave their verdict of trust in BJP, the earmarked right-wing nationalist party. Hating Ram being their pet hobby he accused Yogi of playing Mandir politics and it is easily understood, who has still hope in minority polarisation politics.

For Yogi or for that matter 100 crores Hindus have deep trust in Maryada Purushottam in their heart and it reflects in their action to bring back Ram-Rajya back in India. It is more pathetic to digest the sermon of secularism and restraining communal divide from those, who single-handedly followed the outgoing Englishmen and based their political-castle on the policy of dividing people on caste, creed and religion.

It is ironic to hear a talk on moral rightness of "Good Governance" from someone, whose company of Lalu Prasad and Rahul Gandhi in UPA led governments has an iconic chapter of "Governance through Goonda-Raj and Corruption" as their hallmark.
